What you will do
- Manage customer invoicing, collections, accounts receivable correspondence, AR aging, and reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts payable activities, including purchase orders, bill coding, NACHA payment files, vendor correspondence, and reconciliations.
- Prepare month-end schedules for intangible assets, prepaid expenses, accruals, inventory, and technology intellectual property and content.
- Prepare and analyze balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and maintain accurate general ledger entries.
- Collaborate with auditors, support budgeting and forecasting, and improve accounting procedures and internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and databases, including NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Oracle.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- High integrity and ethics when handling confidential information.
