Senior & Accounting Analyst & Payroll

At Sii Group Colombia, we are looking for talent for the role of Senior Payroll & Accounting Analyst for a project in the technology sector.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounting entries, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
• Execute and oversee monthly payroll processes, social security calculations, and related activities for employees under employment contracts.
• Prepare and manage tax-related information, including exogenous information, magnetic media reporting, and basic tax filings such as ICA, withholding tax, and VAT.
• Generate employment certificates, payroll reports, and information required by regulatory entities such as DIAN and UGPP.
• Ensure the accuracy, confidentiality, and reliability of accounting and payroll information while meeting established deadlines and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of proven experience in accounting and payroll functions.
• Experience managing the complete accounting cycle, including accounting entries, accruals, reconciliations, and closing processes.
• Knowledge of IFRS for SMEs.
• Experience preparing exogenous information, magnetic media reports, and basic tax returns, including ICA, withholding tax, and VAT.
• Experience with payroll processes, monthly payroll calculations, and social security contributions.
• Experience generating employment certificates and payroll reports for entities such as DIAN and UGPP.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas. Basic macro knowledge is a plus.
• Experience using accounting and payroll software such as Siigo, Helisa, and BUK.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
• Ability to prioritize activities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.

Employment Conditions

Type of contract: Permanent contract

Work model: Hybrid in Bogotá, 4 days in the office and 1 day from home

Salary: Based on experience, competitive + benefits
