Senior Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Engineer

We're seeking a Senior Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Engineer to help drive and scale a mature Adobe Experience Platform and Real-Time CDP ecosystem within a large enterprise environment.

This is a post-implementation ownership role, ideal for someone who has hands-on experience supporting, optimizing, governing, and enhancing an existing AEP deployment rather than building one from scratch.

You'll be responsible for ensuring data quality, platform performance, customer profile accuracy, and scalable data collection across the Adobe Experience Cloud while partnering with business and technical teams to deliver trusted customer insights.

What You'll Do

• Own and support enterprise Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Real-Time CDP environments
• Optimize and scale existing AEP implementations following deployment
• Design and manage data collection using Adobe Web SDK, Edge Network, and Datastreams
• Develop and maintain tagging strategies using AEP Data Collection (Adobe Launch)
• Architect and govern XDM schemas, datasets, identity namespaces, and merge policies
• Support Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) through Data Connections and Data Views
• Monitor and resolve data ingestion, identity resolution, and reporting discrepancies
• Build and maintain data quality validation frameworks and governance processes
• Establish event-driven data layer standards (ACDL/EDDL)
• Enable audience segmentation and cross-channel customer insights
• Support privacy and consent management initiatives including GDPR, CCPA, and OneTrust
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

Required Experience

• At least 5+ years of digital analytics, marketing technology, or data collection engineering experience
• Deep hands-on expertise with:
  • Adobe Experience Platform (AEP)
  • Real-Time Customer Data Platform (RTCDP)
  • Adobe Web SDK
  • AEP Data Collection (Adobe Launch)
  • Customer Journey Analytics (CJA)
• Strong experience supporting and optimizing AEP environments after implementation
• Experience with XDM schema architecture, identity resolution, and profile stitching
• Strong JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills
• Experience building event-driven tracking architectures and data layers
• Understanding of data governance, validation, and quality assurance processes

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $160000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
