Founded in the Queensland outback in 1920, Qantas has grown to be Australia’s largest regional, domestic, and international airline. Qantas has a range of subsidiary businesses that support the overall operations of the Group. The Qantas Group’s main business is the transportation of customers and freight using two complementary airline brands — Qantas and Jetstar — operating regional, domestic, and international services.

  • Bring your hands-on advertising operations expertise to Qantas’ in-house media team.
  • Own campaign implementation, quality assurance and technical troubleshooting across programmatic and paid social platforms.
  • Six-month fixed-term cover based at our Mascot campus.

Working in Qantas Loyalty is exciting and fast moving. We love what we do and look forward to what we might create for the future. Being part of a business that’s constantly changing challenges us to think and move on our feet quickly. Our agile way of working enables us to be responsive to business requirements and helps us to deliver exceptional outcomes. By taking the time to recognise and reward our members, we build stronger relationships with the people who matter most.

As a Senior Advertising Operations Specialist, you will take hands-on responsibility for the end-to-end technical implementation of brand, performance and data-driven advertising campaigns across Qantas’ advertising technology platforms.

This role requires strong, recent practical experience in Campaign Manager 360 (CM360), Display & Video 360 (DV360), The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP and Meta Ads Manager, alongside expertise in dynamic creative, Google Studio and Integral Ad Science (IAS).

Working closely with the Ad Operations Specialist, media traders, marketing stakeholders and creative partners, you will personally manage campaign setup, trafficking, tracking implementation, creative testing and quality assurance. You will be confident working independently within platforms and ready to contribute to campaign delivery and troubleshooting from day one.

You will:

  • Own end-to-end campaign implementation in CM360, including campaign structure, placements, creative trafficking, tracking, naming conventions and launch readiness.
  • Set up and maintain campaign components in DV360, The Trade Desk and Amazon DSP, working with media traders to ensure implementation meets campaign requirements.
  • Execute hands-on campaign implementation in Meta Ads Manager, including campaign, ad set and ad setup, creative uploads, tracking configuration and QA.
  • Implement and manage dynamic creative through Google Studio and CM360, including feeds, dynamic profiles, creative versions, testing and troubleshooting.
  • Configure and validate IAS verification, brand safety and suitability controls across relevant campaigns and platforms.
  • Implement, validate and troubleshoot Floodlight tags, tracking pixels, click trackers and conversion tracking, collaborating with technical teams where required.
  • Conduct thorough pre-launch and in-flight QA across creative rendering, click-through URLs, tracking, platform settings and brand safety controls.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues affecting ad serving, campaign delivery, creative functionality and measurement.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver accurate campaign launches on time.
  • Maintain clear campaign documentation, QA checklists and implementation processes, and support colleagues with technical guidance.

You’ll bring:

  • At least three years’ relevant advertising operations experience, with demonstrated independent ownership of complex campaign implementation and QA.
  • Strong, recent hands-on experience trafficking and managing campaigns in CM360.
  • Demonstrated practical campaign setup and troubleshooting experience across DV360, The Trade Desk and Amazon DSP.
  • Strong hands-on experience implementing and QAing campaigns in Meta Ads Manager. Direct platform execution experience is essential.
  • Proven experience delivering dynamic creative through Google Studio and CM360, including feed configuration, creative testing and issue resolution.
  • Practical experience implementing and validating IAS, including verification, brand safety and suitability settings.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Floodlight, tracking pixels, click tracking and conversion measurement.
  • Experience testing display, video and rich media creatives, with excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage competing deadlines, work independently and communicate technical issues clearly to varied stakeholders.
  • Confidence taking ownership of platform implementation and QA from the start of a six-month cover assignment.

Desirable:

  • Hands-on campaign implementation experience in LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Familiarity with website and server-side tagging, product feeds and data-driven advertising workflows.
