About the Role
Join the product engineering team at a Series B AI sales automation company to build and deploy AI agents for customer sales workflows. You will work directly with customers, shipping improvements quickly and owning the impact of each deployment.
What You'll Do
Deploy and iterate on agents for account strategy, prospecting, outbound messaging, call preparation, and follow-ups.
Partner closely with customer teams through shared channels, calls, and rapid feedback cycles, translating field needs into product improvements.
Build agents that automate nuanced sales development work, with clear evaluations, calibrated trust, and the ability to improve over time.
Own deployments end to end, troubleshoot complex customer environments, and take responsibility for measurable customer outcomes.
Communicate deployment status and customer needs across sales, engineering, and leadership teams.
What We're Looking For
At least 3 years of full-stack product engineering experience, with 5+ years of overall engineering experience preferred.
Experience building and shipping production AI agents or agentic workflows for external users, including prompt engineering, tool use, evaluations, and trust calibration.
Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.
Experience embedding with customers, navigating ambiguous technical environments, and turning feedback into production code.
Strong communication across business, technical, and executive audiences, plus the initiative to deliver without a detailed playbook.
Strong computer science fundamentals, product ownership experience, and familiarity with sales or go-to-market workflows.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary is $215,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
Hybrid in San Francisco, California, with at least three days per week in the office.
