Job Description This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying production-grade Large Language Model workflows that streamline legal and contract processes. As a Senior Agentic AI Engineer, you will leverage cutting-edge AI techniques, including advanced retrieval, context engineering, and multi-agent orchestration to solve complex, real-world challenges in a high-impact setting. Key Responsibilities Workflow Engineering: Design and implement robust LLM workflows for production environments. Platform Integration: Integrate AI solutions with existing SaaS platforms, internal APIs, and legal workflow systems. Ecosystem Evaluation: Evaluate third-party models, frameworks, and services to determine suitability and integration potential. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand user needs, and deliver high-impact agent solutions. Observability & Tooling: Build tooling and observability infrastructure to monitor, test, and evaluate AI agent performance. Quality Standards: Conduct code reviews and maintain best practices in documentation and version control. System Optimization: Diagnose and resolve issues in AI systems to ensure accuracy, reliability, performance, and scalability. Requirements Must-Have Skills: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field. Experience: 3+ years of practical experience developing agent products or similar AI applications. Programming: Strong proficiency in Python. AI Core Concepts: Deep understanding of LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agent orchestration. Agent Tooling: Hands-on experience with AI agent frameworks and development tools (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, MCP). Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Degree: Ph.D. in a relevant technical field. Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. Specialized AI Skills: Advanced knowledge of NLP techniques, RAG systems, and prompt engineering. Community Contributions: Contributions to open-source projects or publications in AI research. Production Operations: Experience deploying and maintaining AI models in production environments. Bilingual Communication: Strong cross-cultural communication skills in both English and Japanese. Benefits Location & Work Schedule Location: Tokyo (Hybrid; not a fully remote position).
