About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), intelligent agents, and modern AI infrastructure within the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering expertise with hands-on experience building production-grade AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop LLM-powered applications and intelligent agent systems.
• Build reliable AI workflows, RAG pipelines, and tool-using agents.
• Integrate LLMs with healthcare applications, APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Develop scalable and secure AI services for production environments.
• Evaluate model performance, accuracy, reliability, and cost.
• Implement prompt engineering, model evaluation, guardrails, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and healthcare teams to translate requirements into AI solutions.
• Ensure AI applications follow healthcare privacy, security, and compliance requirements.
• Optimize AI systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Stay current with emerging LLM, agentic AI, and generative AI technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software/AI engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Python and modern AI/ML frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI agents.
• Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or comparable LLM platforms.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience deploying AI systems in production environments.
• Healthcare technology experience is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of HIPAA, healthcare data privacy, and security requirements is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
