Senior AI Solutions Architect (Remote) Professional Summary We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Senior AI Solutions Architect to design and deliver enterprise-grade, agentic AI solutions. This pivotal role involves leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and integrating them with critical business platforms such as ServiceNow, ERP systems, and data & analytics environments. The ideal candidate will translate complex business challenges into innovative AI-driven workflows, automation, and seamless system integrations, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and production-ready. This is a 100% remote position, requiring alignment with Portugal business hours (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM Portugal time). Key Responsibilities Design and define end-to-end architectures for enterprise Generative AI solutions. Develop and implement agentic AI systems and multi-agent architectures. Integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms including ServiceNow, Salesforce, SAP, Oracle , and similar systems. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate use cases into scalable AI-driven solutions. Ensure solutions meet stringent production requirements for performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability. Define and implement AI safety strategies, guardrails, and risk mitigation approaches, including grounding techniques and prompt injection prevention. Evaluate and balance architectural trade-offs, such as latency vs. accuracy and automation vs. human control. Technical Requirements (Must-have) Software Engineering Background 5+ years of software engineering experience. Strong backend development expertise (Python preferred) . Proven experience designing and delivering Generative AI solutions in enterprise environments . LLMs & Agentic AI Systems Hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT-4o, o-series models) within Microsoft Azure environments . Strong understanding of: Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Grounding strategies . Tool/function calling patterns . Experience designing: Agentic AI systems , including Orchestrator architectures and Multi-agent architectures. Workflow-based agents (LangGraph or similar) . Enterprise Integration Experience integrating AI solutions with: ServiceNow Salesforce ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) . Strong knowledge of: REST APIs . Enterprise integration patterns . OAuth . Microsoft Entra ID . RBAC . Ability to design end-to-end workflows across multiple enterprise systems. Architecture & Production Readiness Experience with: Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Observability, Logging, Monitoring, KPI definition . AI safety mechanisms and operational guardrails. Ability to balance business needs, technical constraints, and operational requirements. Cloud & Engineering Practices Experience with: Microsoft Azure, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services . Docker, Azure Container Apps, Azure App Services . CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) . Desired Skills (Nice-to-have) Real-time AI systems Voice solutions Streaming architectures WebSockets Experience with other LLM providers like OpenAI, Claude, Gemini .
