Summary
We are looking for a Senior AI/ML Engineer to design and build production-grade AI systems, with a strong focus on LLMs, RAG pipelines, and scalable ML infrastructure.
This is a highly client-facing / hands-on engineering role focused on turning AI prototypes into reliable, scalable production systems used in real-world applications.
Important Requirements (Must-Have)
- Must be able to work in or overlap with EST (US Eastern Time) hours
- Strong English communication skills (clear, structured, and responsive communication is essential)
- Comfortable actively participating in technical discussions and explaining design decisions
- Reliable availability and responsiveness during agreed working hours
Compensation
- Monthly budget: $2,000 – $4,000 USD

What You’ll Work On
- Designing and implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines
- Integrating and optimizing LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, open-source models, etc.)
- Building and maintaining vector search and embedding systems
- Improving latency, cost efficiency, and response quality in production systems
- Developing evaluation frameworks for retrieval accuracy, hallucination, and performance metrics
- Deploying scalable AI services on AWS / GCP / Azure
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong AI/ML production exposure
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering
- Strong experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Chroma, etc.)
- Proven experience building RAG-based systems in production
- Strong Python backend engineering skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Understanding of ML evaluation metrics and trade-offs (precision/recall, latency, cost)
Nice to Have
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks
- Experience fine-tuning transformer models
- Background in search, NLP, or recommendation systems
- Experience with distributed systems or high-scale APIs
- Experience in enterprise SaaS, healthcare, or finance AI systems
