We are currently using the following languages & technologies: Node.js with Typescript SvelteKit Docker Google Cloud Platform services including: Cloud Run Cloud Functions Pub/Sub Cloud Tasks API Gateway Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to become an integral part of engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of key components, define the technical standards, influence the architectural roadmap, and contribute to building a culture of excellence from day one. The ideal candidate should be passionate about developing high-quality solutions, be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong sense of accountability and ownership. Key Responsibilities includes: Developing substantial components, including potentially entire services. Conducting code reviews and performing feature testing to ensure quality, a responsibility shared across the engineering team. Participating in a shared 24/7 support model to maintain system stability. While our priority is to build stable systems and minimize support needs, this remains a team-wide responsibility. Contributing to the development and evolution of the technology stack, engineering standards, and team culture. Essential Qualifications and Experience 8+ years professional experience working with modern programming languages (Typescript, Golang, Rust, C#, Java) 5+ years of commercial experience with Typescript 5+ years experience building and supporting web APIs /services 3+ years experience working with modern frontend frameworks (Svelte, React, Angular, Vue.js) Experience working with Infrastructure as Code technologies (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation etc.) Experience delivering large pieces of functionality as an individual contributor Experience designing and deploying containerized and serverless applications (GCP preferred but not essential) Proven ability to manage responsibilities independently and effectively in a fully remote setting Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Desirable experience Experience in healthcare industry Experience in developing or supporting eCommerce platforms Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services Experience Architecting new solutions Experience working with event-driven architects & paradigms
