WE’RE HIRING: SENIOR AMAZON PPC SPECIALIST
Full-Time | Remote | Amazon US + India
We’re looking for a highly skilled, hands-on Amazon PPC Specialist who can independently manage, optimize, and scale Amazon advertising accounts with significant ad spend.
This is an execution-focused role — not a client-management role.
Our Brand Managers own client communication, strategy discussions, and reporting. You own PPC execution.
You’ll be given the business objectives — sales growth, TACOS/ACOS targets, profitability, and keyword-ranking priorities — and we expect you to determine what needs to happen inside the advertising account to achieve them.
We’re not looking for someone who needs a task or ticket to know what to optimize next.
We want someone who can open an account, identify what’s working, understand what’s broken, and execute the next move independently.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
PPC Execution & Optimization
You will independently manage and optimize:
• Sponsored Products
• Sponsored Brands
• Sponsored Brands Video
• Sponsored Display
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Bid optimization and CPC management
• Budget allocation and spend pacing
• Search-term harvesting and keyword expansion
• Negative keyword and ASIN management
• Match-type and product-targeting strategy
• Top-of-Search and placement optimization
• Campaign restructuring and waste reduction
• Scaling profitable campaigns and keywords
• Launching and testing new campaign structures
You should be capable of making independent decisions around bids, budgets, placements, targeting, campaign structure, and spend allocation without requiring step-by-step instructions.
PERFORMANCE & ACCOUNT DIAGNOSIS
We expect you to think beyond ACOS.
You should understand and actively work with:
ACOS | TACOS | ROAS | CPC | CTR | CVR | CAC | Organic Sales | Keyword Rank | Impression Share
You should be able to diagnose:
• Why sales declined despite stable ad spend
• Why ACOS/TACOS increased
• Whether the problem is CPC, CTR, CVR, traffic quality, or competition
• Which campaigns are consuming budget without contributing meaningful growth
• Where additional budget should be deployed
• Which keywords deserve aggressive Top-of-Search exposure
• When ranking should be prioritized versus immediate profitability
• Whether performance issues are actually caused by PPC or by pricing, reviews, inventory, listing quality, or category demand
We want someone who investigates the root cause — not someone who reacts to a metric in isolation.
ADVANCED AMAZON DATA & KEYWORD INTELLIGENCE
You should be comfortable analyzing:
• Search Term Reports
• Search Query Performance (SQP)
• Brand Analytics
• Search Query Volume
• Search Term Impression Share
• Placement-level performance
• Business Reports
• Bulk files and large PPC datasets
Most importantly, you should know how to turn these datasets into actual PPC decisions, not simply report what the numbers say.
PPC + ORGANIC RANKING
We don’t look at PPC in isolation.
You should understand the relationship between:
PPC → Visibility → CTR → CVR → Sales Velocity → Keyword Ranking → Organic Sales → TACOS
You should know when to:
• Push aggressively for keyword ranking
• Prioritize long-tail opportunities
• Scale proven conversion winners
• Defend branded traffic
• Attack competitor traffic
• Reduce wasted spend
• Pull back on expensive high-volume keywords
• Prioritize profitability over ranking
The objective isn’t simply to achieve a good ACOS this week.
The objective is to use PPC to build profitable, sustainable account growth and stronger organic ranking over time.
ACCOUNT OWNERSHIP
This is one of the most important parts of the role.
We expect you to proactively identify:
• Overspending and budget limitations
• CPC spikes
• CTR/CVR deterioration
• Conversion drops
• Search-volume changes
• Ranking losses
• Inventory issues affecting PPC
• Listing or Buy Box problems
• Unusual performance anomalies
Ideally, you should identify a problem before the Brand Manager needs to ask you about it.
If something can be fixed, fix it.
If something requires another team, flag it clearly with the data and recommended action.
HOW YOU’LL WORK WITH OUR TEAM
Each account has a Brand Manager responsible for client communication, strategic discussions, and overall account coordination.
As the PPC Specialist, you’ll work closely with the Brand Manager while taking complete ownership of PPC execution.
The Brand Manager shouldn’t need to tell you:
“Reduce this bid.”
“Negate this search term.”
“Increase this placement.”
“This campaign is wasting money.”
They should communicate the business objective, and you should know how to translate that objective into PPC execution.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• 3+ years of strong hands-on Amazon PPC experience preferred
• Proven experience personally managing ₹20,00,000+ / $30,000+ monthly Amazon ad spend
• Strong Amazon US marketplace experience
• Amazon India and other international marketplace experience is highly valuable
• Advanced understanding of ACOS, TACOS, ROAS, CPC, CTR, CVR, CAC, and profitability
• Deep knowledge of Amazon Advertising Console
• Strong keyword research and competitor-analysis skills
• Experience with SQP, Brand Analytics, Search Term Reports, placement data, and bulk operations
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets and data-analysis capabilities
• Ability to independently diagnose and solve PPC performance problems
• Strong ownership and execution mindset
NICE TO HAVE
• Previous Amazon agency experience
• Helium 10, DataDive, or similar tools
• Amazon Ads certifications
• Experience managing multiple marketplaces
• Sponsored Display expertise
• Amazon DSP exposure
THE PERSON WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are NOT looking for someone whose PPC optimization process is simply:
“ACOS is high → decrease the bid.”
“ACOS is low → increase the bid.”
We’re looking for someone who can open an Amazon account and answer:
What is happening? Why is it happening?
Where are we wasting money?
Where are we leaving growth on the table?
What should we stop, scale, or test next?
And most importantly:
How will the PPC decisions we make today improve sales, profitability, TACOS, and organic ranking over the next 3–6 months?
If you need constant instructions to determine the next PPC action, this probably isn’t the right role.
If you enjoy digging into data, finding problems, testing solutions, and taking complete ownership of execution, we’d like to speak with you.
