This is your chance to be part of a Corporate Human Resources team at a top global hospitality company! As a Senior Payroll Analyst, you will partner with our business leaders to attract, retain, and develop Hilton's most important asset, our Team Members. On the Payroll and Compliance team reporting to the Director of Payroll Operations, you will support projects including process improvement, automation, and other Global Payroll, Tax, and Compliance support.

What you'll do during a typical day:

  • Support global payroll operations across multiple regions by reviewing payroll inputs, validating outputs, and partnering with regional teams to help ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Interpret and apply payroll policies, statutory requirements, tax rules, and internal controls across domestic and international jurisdictions.
  • Respond to payroll and compliance inquiries from internal partners, regional payroll teams, Finance, Tax, HR, and external providers while ensuring clear documentation and timely resolution.
  • Develop and present payroll data insights, metrics, and business updates for leadership review, enabling informed decision-making, risk identification, operational planning, and continuous process improvement.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, solution process efficiencies and develop solutions in partnership with team and partners.
  • Manage third party partners as they engage in the service delivery process. Partner on enhancements and opportunities to optimize the service model for scalability and compliance focused deliverables.

How you'll collaborate with others:

  • Analyze payroll data across multiple countries and business units to identify trends, anomalies, control gaps, and compliance risks.
  • Develop dashboards and reports for global payroll indicators, compliance metrics, issue tracking, and audit readiness.
  • Partner with regional payroll teams and cross-functional stakeholders to standardize data formats, reporting structures, controls, and process documentation.
  • Support and manage special payroll programs and initiatives, including incentive payments, bonus and equity compensation processing, system implementations and upgrades, user acceptance testing (UAT), and ongoing enhancements to payroll-related platforms.
  • Maintain end-to-end oversight of integrated processes involving time and attendance, TMX, HR systems, and third-party vendors to ensure accuracy, compliance, operational efficiency, and a seamless employee experience.

Deliverables you'll take ownership of:

  • Reconcile payroll activity, funding, tax, and general ledger outputs to support accurate financial reporting and compliance oversight.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payroll transactions, tax filings, statutory reporting, and system integrations.
  • Maintain audit trails, control evidence, and process documentation to support SOX compliance, regulatory reviews, and internal governance requirements.
  • Prepare recurring compliance summaries, dashboards, reconciliation reports, and executive-ready updates for global payroll leadership.
  • Proficient management of internal business partner relationships and external third-party relationships for production, tax, system management, and service delivery.

What It Takes to Make the Stay

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Three (3) years in Payroll Operations Support, including garnishment, data analytics or audit support.
  • Experience with Payroll systems such as Oracle, ADP SmartCompliance, Time & Attendance, or similar systems
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, creating and utilizing macros
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Co-Pilot and ChatGPT and/or Claude

It would be useful if you have:

  • Five (5) years of professional experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Human Resources or Data Analytics
  • CPP, FPC, or equivalent payroll certifications

Hilton offers its eligible team members a comprehensive benefits package to support their mental and physical well-being, so they can Thrive personally and professionally. The pay range for this role is $67,500 – $95,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Subject to plan terms and conditions, you will be eligible to participate in the Hilton Annual Incentive (Bonus) Plan, consistent with other team members at the same level and/or position within the Company.
