Senior Analyst - Software Development Engineering

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities Develops and maintains software applications that support the organization's business objectives by writing code, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure consistent and lawful products. Provides technical guidance and leadership to junior software development engineers by mentoring, reviewing code, and ensuring that best practices and established procedures are followed. Collaborates with software development engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on-time and within budget parameters. Coordinates with executive-level management, senior individual contributors, and stakeholders to gather and document customer requirements for software solutions and applications. Designs and architects software solutions that are scalable, reliable, and maintainable by leveraging software design patterns and architecture principles that drive continuous improvement and organizational advancement. Creates and executes test plans, ensuring that code is tested, validated, and software application quality meets organizational standards and required regulations. Monitors and maintains software application performance by troubleshooting issues, providing technical support to end-users, and ensuring that applications operate smoothly. Identifies areas for improvement in software applications and processes, implementing changes that drive efficiency and productivity and align with the organization's goals and critical deliverables. Drives innovation and improved software application quality by remaining abreast of emerging technologies and software development trends. Education Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification/equivalent experience Prior Relevant Work Experience 3-5 years Essential Qualifications Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) preferred. Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $79,310.00 - $158,620.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
