Senior Analytical Engineer (Permanent WFH)

We're looking for an experienced Senior Analytical Engineer to join our Client's global data organization and serve as a key connection between business strategy, data engineering, analytics, and technology.

This role is ideal for a highly technical and analytical professional who can transform raw data into scalable, trusted, and certified data products. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into reliable data models, semantic layers, BI solutions, and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements and logic into scalable, version-controlled data models using dbt within cloud data warehouse environments
• Design, build, and maintain high-performance Tableau or similar BI dashboards and certified Published Data Sources
• Develop and maintain reliable semantic models to ensure critical business metrics are consistently defined and calculated across the organization
• Work with cross-functional business metrics including ARR, Churn, NPS, Pipeline Velocity, and Attrition
• Implement and maintain data quality and freshness testing to ensure the reliability of enterprise data products
• Build and maintain business glossaries and data lineage within Data Catalog platforms to improve data discoverability
• Structure and optimize data products for machine learning consumption and augmented intelligence applications
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, IT, and Security teams to manage upstream data source changes, RBAC governance, and PII masking
• Partner with stakeholders across multiple business functions to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve data models, analytics capabilities, reporting consistency, and overall data quality

Job Specification

• 6+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or highly technical Data Analytics roles
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex data transformations, performance tuning, and multi-layer data modeling
• Strong hands-on experience with dbt and modern cloud data warehouse environments
• Proven experience building and deploying enterprise-level Tableau or similar BI solutions
• Experience developing certified data sources, dashboards, and data quality/freshness processes
• Strong understanding of semantic data modeling and KPI standardization across business functions
• Experience with Snowflake or AWS cloud environments is preferred
• Proficiency in Python for data scripting, automation, or analytical workflows is preferred
• Experience working with CRM, ERP, CSP, Product, or other upstream enterprise systems is preferred
• Experience with Data Catalog, data lineage, RBAC, and PII masking is an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work independently in a highly visible individual contributor role.
