Senior Application Engineer (Condition Monitoring)

A US-based global corporation is looking for a Senior Application Engineer (Condition Monitoring: Digital Multimeters, Clamp Meters, Insulation Testers, Thermal & Acoustic Imaging...) to work home-based / remote in Hanoi, supporting technical applications and market development in Vietnam.

Job Description:

• Develop applications and technical solutions for Energy, Oil & Gas, Electronics, Semiconductor, Automotive, and Heavy Industry

• Provide technical and application support to Sales teams and customers, including product positioning and competitive information

• Conduct technical training, site surveys, product implementation support, and market development activities

• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and regional teams to drive revenue and market growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering; MBA is a plus

• 7+ years of experience in Application Engineering, Automation, or Industrial Solutions

• Hands-on experience in Condition Monitoring, including vibration analysis, laser shaft alignment, and thermography for rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, compressors, and turbines

• Experience in Energy, Oil & Gas, Electronics, Semiconductor, or Heavy Industry

• Strong technical and commercial mindset, with experience supporting Sales on products and solutions

• Fluent in English and Vietnamese; can communicate in Chinese is a plus.

• Willing to travel frequently.

Salary: 50M VND gross/month + bonus

Benefits: 13th-month salary, performance bonus, full social insurance

Location: Home-based / Remote in Hanoi and nearby areas, reporting directly to the Country Manager based in HCMC. Frequent business travel is required.
