About the Role
Join a software engineering team building AI infrastructure and custom applications for institutional finance. You will work directly with investment teams to turn complex research, analytics, and operational workflows into production-grade software.
What You'll Do
Build LLM-powered research tools, natural language query features, automated summaries, and agentic workflows.
Develop MCP-connected data sources, agent pipelines, and AI orchestration layers using modern AI frameworks.
Build full-stack applications for portfolio analytics, risk management, and investment research workflows.
Design Python APIs and services for client-specific data access, analytics, and AI inference.
Create responsive React interfaces that make complex financial data easier to use.
Build and maintain ETL pipelines for market data, positions, securities, risk metrics, and research signals.
Implement performance and risk analytics using time-series and linear algebra operations with tools such as Pandas or Polars.
Support Kubernetes deployments and deliver improvements quickly through direct user feedback.
What We're Looking For
Three to eight years of software engineering experience, with strong full-stack development skills.
Experience with Python, React, SQL, Azure, and AI frameworks or tooling.
Ability to build reliable backend services, data pipelines, and production user interfaces.
Interest in institutional finance and investment team workflows, such as research, portfolio analytics, or risk management.
Comfort moving quickly, making sound build-versus-leverage decisions, and iterating with users.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary range: $200,000 to $250,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.

Hybrid role based in New York, United States.
