About Your New Employer

Join a leading international architecture firm delivering complex, large-scale projects across Ireland and international markets. The practice works with high-profile clients across specialist sectors, including healthcare, life sciences and data centres.

You will become part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team delivering technically challenging projects where quality, innovation and technical excellence are central to successful project outcomes.

The company offers:

  • A supportive and inclusive working environment.
  • The opportunity to work on high-value healthcare, life sciences and data centre projects.
  • Exposure to complex buildings, advanced technologies and highly regulated environments.
  • Professional growth opportunities and structured career development.
  • A flexible hybrid working model.
  • The chance to collaborate with experienced architects, engineers, consultants and contractors across multiple locations.

About Your New Job

As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will play a key role in the technical delivery of complex projects across the healthcare, life sciences and data centre sectors. You will contribute from technical design through construction and handover, ensuring projects are coordinated, compliant and delivered to a high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the technical delivery of complex healthcare, life sciences and data centre projects from detailed design through to construction and handover.
  • Preparing and reviewing detailed technical drawings, specifications, schedules and project documentation.
  • Developing robust construction details and technical solutions for complex, highly serviced buildings.
  • Coordinating architectural information with structural, MEP, process and specialist engineering disciplines.
  • Working closely with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors and clients to resolve design and construction issues.
  • Ensuring designs comply with Irish Building Regulations, relevant codes, statutory requirements and project quality standards.
  • Reviewing technical information and supporting the integration of specialist systems and equipment.
  • Responding to technical queries, RFIs and construction-related issues throughout the delivery phase.
  • Supporting the preparation of tender and construction information.
  • Attending design meetings, site meetings and inspections to monitor progress and support successful project delivery.
  • Reviewing work on site and helping ensure that construction is delivered in accordance with the approved design and project requirements.
  • Supporting project leads and providing technical guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Contributing to project planning, risk management and the continuous improvement of technical delivery processes.

This role would suit an experienced Architectural Technologist who enjoys working on technically demanding projects and wants to develop their expertise across sectors where coordination, compliance and construction quality are critical.

What Skills You Need

  • 5 to 8 years’ experience working as an Architectural Technologist within an architectural practice, design consultancy or similar environment.
  • Proven experience contributing to or leading the technical delivery of complex projects through construction and completion.
  • Experience working on healthcare, life sciences, data centre or similarly complex and highly serviced projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, technical detailing, building envelope design and construction delivery.
  • Good understanding of Irish Building Regulations, relevant standards and statutory requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit and other technical design and coordination software.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, including architectural, structural, MEP and specialist consultants.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery from detailed design and tender through to construction and handover.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.

What’s on Offer

  • A salary of €60,000 to €70,000, plus benefits.
  • The opportunity to work on complex, high-value healthcare, life sciences and data centre projects.
  • A flexible hybrid working model.
  • Ongoing professional development, targeted training and support with your career goals.
  • The chance to work alongside experienced international design and technical teams.
  • Strong opportunities for career progression within a leading global architecture practice.
  • Exposure to innovative technologies, advanced construction methods and technically challenging projects.
