For this position, EX Squared LATAM is supporting our client with the recruitment and selection process. The selected professional will be hired directly by the client under their local payroll in Mexico, becoming part of their internal Consulting team.


Role Overview

We’re currently looking for a Senior Associate – Finance Transformation to support and deliver finance transformation initiatives for major organizations, with a particular focus on Manufacturing environments.

This role combines Finance Transformation, Financial ERP/EPM implementation, finance and accounting process knowledge, data analytics, and client-facing consulting.


The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of consulting experience, hands-on participation in the design and implementation of Financial ERP and/or EPM solutions such as Oracle, SAP, or Workday, and the ability to work directly with U.S.-based and global clients.


Location

Mexico. This position is based in Mexico City or Guadalajara.

  • The role follows a hybrid working model.
  • Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 3 days per week, with 2 days of home office.


Contract Duration

Permanent, direct employment with the client.

This is a 100% payroll position in Mexico.


Working Hours: Monday through Friday.

The position requires regular collaboration with U.S.-based clients and global teams, so candidates must be comfortable working within the business schedule required to support those interactions.


Language Requirement: Advanced English – C1 minimum.



Candidates must be comfortable conducting meetings, gathering requirements, discussing finance and technology topics, delivering recommendations, and collaborating directly with U.S.-based clients and global stakeholders.


What you'll do

  • Deliver finance and accounting transformation projects from initial vision through implementation.
  • Support the development of target operating models, future-state designs, and deployment strategies.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of Financial ERP and EPM solutions.
  • Apply finance and accounting knowledge to technology-enabled transformation initiatives.
  • Support transformation projects within Manufacturing environments, including initiatives involving Cost Accounting.
  • Analyze clients’ current finance processes and identify opportunities for improvement and transformation.
  • Conduct benchmarking and contribute to the development of business cases and strategic roadmaps.
  • Support process modeling, technology architecture, governance, and organizational design initiatives.
  • Work directly with client stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into transformation and technology solutions.
  • Develop communication strategies and support end-user training and adoption.
  • Apply data analytics and financial modeling to generate insights and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary and global teams throughout project delivery.
  • Contribute to business development and go-to-market initiatives, including the preparation of proposals.


What you'll bring



  • Minimum 2 years of consulting experience.
  • Proven experience interacting directly with U.S.-based clients.
  • Hands-on experience in the design and implementation of Financial ERP and/or EPM solutions, such as Oracle, SAP, or Workday.
  • Experience participating in finance transformation or financial systems implementation projects.
  • Knowledge of key finance and accounting processes.
  • Exposure to areas such as US GAAP/IFRS, corporate consolidation, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and/or Cost Accounting.
  • Understanding of finance processes within Manufacturing environments is highly valuable.
  • Strong skills in data analytics and financial modeling.
  • Strong critical-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple assignments.
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience successfully collaborating with global organizations and multicultural teams.


What will make you stand out



  • Strong hands-on experience implementing Oracle Financials, Oracle EPM, SAP Finance, Workday Financial Management, or comparable enterprise finance platforms.
  • Experience participating across multiple phases of an implementation, including requirements gathering, configuration/design, testing, UAT, training, deployment, and Go Live support.
  • Strong understanding of Finance Transformation beyond purely technical ERP configuration.
  • Experience with Cost Accounting in Manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of FP&A, financial consolidation, Order-to-Cash, Accounts Receivable, or related finance processes.
  • Experience translating finance requirements into system and process solutions.
  • Ability to combine finance, technology, data, and business understanding when advising clients.
  • Previous experience in a major consulting or professional services environment.
  • Relevant certifications in Oracle, SAP, Workday, EPM, or Financial ERP technologies.

Eligibility Note

This opportunity is available to candidates currently residing in Mexico.

Candidates must be able to work under the established hybrid model in Mexico City or Guadalajara, with approximately 3 days per week onsite.

C1 English proficiency and the ability to collaborate effectively with U.S.-based clients are important requirements for this opportunity.
