About the Role We're seeking an experienced capital raiser who understands how family offices and sophisticated investors allocate capital. This is a senior individual contributor role responsible for originating and developing relationships with family offices, high-net-worth investors, RIAs, multifamily offices, and institutional allocators while raising capital across InvestX's private market investment platform. You'll represent differentiated investment opportunities in some of the world's most sought-after private technology companies while partnering directly with senior leadership to help drive the firm's next phase of growth. Success in this role requires someone who is entrepreneurial, commercially driven, and comfortable building long-term investor relationships from first introduction through commitment and ongoing portfolio support. Location: United States – Remote, or Hybrid (3 days in office) New York What You'll Do Capital Formation Raise capital for InvestX funds and Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs). Develop and execute fundraising strategies across family offices, HNW investors, RIAs, and institutional investors. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective investors. Source new LP relationships through your existing network and proactive business development. Lead investor meetings, presentations, and due diligence discussions. Guide investors through subscription and closing processes. Relationship Management Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the investor lifecycle. Develop long-term relationships that lead to repeat investments. Present investment opportunities, portfolio updates, and market insights. Respond to investor questions and coordinate with internal teams to deliver timely information. Represent InvestX at conferences, industry events, and networking opportunities. Pipeline & Strategy Maintain accurate CRM activity and fundraising forecasts. Report pipeline activity, commitments, and fundraising progress. Provide market intelligence and investor feedback to senior leadership. Partner with Investment, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Operations to support fundraising initiatives and investor onboarding. What Makes You Successful You naturally build trust with sophisticated investors and enjoy developing relationships that last for years, not just one fundraising cycle. You understand how family offices evaluate private market investments, ask thoughtful questions, and make allocation decisions. You enjoy opening new doors, creating opportunities, and building a pipeline through both your existing network and proactive business development. You're equally comfortable discussing investment strategy in a boardroom, presenting at an investor event, or following up with a prospective investor after an initial introduction. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience raising capital for private equity, venture capital, private credit, hedge funds, real assets, or alternative investments. Demonstrated success raising capital from family offices, RIAs, HNW investors, or institutional allocators. Existing relationships with family offices and private wealth channels preferred. Strong understanding of private markets, fund structures, secondary investments, and fundraising processes. Exceptional presentation, communication, and relationship management skills. Highly entrepreneurial with the ability to operate independently. Strong commercial instincts and a disciplined approach to pipeline management. FINRA Series 7 and 63 (Series 66 preferred) with a clean U4 record. Eligibility to travel between the US and Canada to attend meetings; ability to travel as needed. Salary & Benefits 2026 base salary range is $110,000–$140,000 USD plus incentive plan and equity.
