The Project Manager – Information Services is responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, and implementing technology solutions and service offerings for prospective, new, and existing customers. This role serves as a liaison between business stakeholders, clients, operational teams, and Information Services resources to support successful project delivery, system implementations, and technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess client and business requirements and translate them into clear project scope, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.
- Lead client implementations, integrations, portal launches, reporting initiatives, and technology service changes.
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestone trackers, communication plans, readiness checklists, RAID logs, and closeout documentation.
- Manage schedules, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and change requests to support timely delivery and minimize project risk.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders to drive alignment, accountability, and execution.
- Facilitate project meetings, status updates, go-live readiness reviews, and post-implementation follow-ups; document decisions, owners, and next steps.
- Support requirements gathering, workflow analysis, process mapping, configuration planning, testing, UAT, and implementation readiness.
- Coordinate data migration, interfaces, reporting, integrations, file validation, issue tracking, deployment, training, hypercare, and handoff to support.
- Perform project closure activities, including deliverable validation, stakeholder acceptance, lessons learned, benefits notes, and artifact archival.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- PMP, CAPM, CSM, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent project management certification. Insurance industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management,
- Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience, preferably with client implementations or cross-functional technology projects.
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent in English.
