WisdomTree is seeking a Senior Associate, Full Stack Developer to join our fast-paced Software Engineering team and enhance our recently developed Trading and Pricing applications. The role spans front-end and back-end development, working closely with business stakeholders to translate needs into high-quality, maintainable and extensible solutions.

The Senior Associate will work independently on assigned projects while collaborating with the European Technology team and Software Engineering Lead. The role covers the full delivery lifecycle, from requirements and solution design through development, testing, release, deployment and post-deployment support.

The role will contribute to both Trading and Pricing applications, helping ensure they remain reliable, scalable and aligned with critical and evolving business needs.

Key Accountabilities and Scope

  • Business Partnership & Requirements: Work with business stakeholders to understand workflows, clarify needs and translate them into clear technical requirements, scope and acceptance criteria.
  • End-to-End Delivery: Own assigned tasks and projects from discovery and solution design through development, testing, release, deployment and post-release support, managing risks and dependencies throughout.
  • Trading & Pricing Applications: Develop, enhance and maintain business-critical features across both applications, with a focus on reliable workflows and maintainable solutions.
  • Solution Design: Contribute to technical design with the Software Engineering team, ensuring alignment with application architecture and engineering standards.
  • Front-End Development: Build and enhance user-facing features using React and Django.
  • Back-End Development: Develop Python services and APIs and integrate with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  • Quality & Agile Delivery: Deliver secure, well-tested and high-performing solutions; participate in planning, estimation, demonstrations, code reviews and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Infrastructure & Deployment: Work with CI/CD pipelines, Azure and AWS services, Terraform and serverless functions to support reliable releases.

    • Essential Skills and Qualifications

    Business Partnership & Delivery

  • Experience working independently with business stakeholders to discover, analyse and document requirements.
  • Experience owning tasks or small projects through the full software delivery lifecycle, from requirements through deployment and post-release validation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain business and technical requirements to different audiences.
  • Ability to manage priorities, dependencies and delivery risks while maintaining accountability for outcomes.

    • Front-End Expertise

  • Strong proficiency in React and Django, with experience in component-driven development and modern UI libraries.

    • Back-End Experience

  • Hands-on experience with Python and API development, including complex business logic and algorithms.
  • Experience with ORM and database integrations using Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.

    • Design Principles

  • Good knowledge of software architecture, design principles and maintainable coding practices.
  • Experience with automated testing, test-driven development and peer code review.
  • Ability to collaborate on solution design while independently progressing implementation work.

    • DevOps & Tooling

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows and automated testing.

    • Desirable Skills and Qualifications

  • Financial services or investment-platform experience.
  • Experience working with trading, market data, valuation or pricing applications.
  • Knowledge of Azure App Service, serverless functions such as Azure Functions or AWS Lambda, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
