Senior Audit Manager

Our client, a well-established and growing accountancy practice, is looking for an experienced Senior Audit Manager to take a leading role in their audit department.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Audit Manager ready for the next step. You’ll lead a varied portfolio of clients, combining audit with advisory work, and work closely with the Partners on the growth of the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of audit clients, overseeing delivery from planning to sign-off
• Take responsibility for the quality and technical standard of audit work
• Act as a trusted adviser to clients, presenting findings to senior management and boards
• Lead, coach and develop the audit team, including Managers, Seniors and Trainees
• Work with the Partners on the growth of the department and on winning new business
• Identify opportunities to support clients with advisory services

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent
• Proven experience as an Audit Manager, managing a varied portfolio of clients
• Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting
• Strong leadership skills and a genuine interest in developing people
• Confidence presenting to boards and senior stakeholders
• Commercial awareness and a drive to grow the business
