Dellent is a consulting company focused in System Information and Telecommunications. Our goal is to help our candidates and consultants to take a step forward in their careers through projects that meet their needs and expectations.

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, that currently has its technological hub in Portugal and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Senior Automation developer (API Firewall) to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Must Have

• More than 9 years of professional experience;
• Advanced Python 3 and Django framework (or REST Framework) for building robust, scalable APIs and automation backends;
• Experience with asynchronous task queues (e.g., Celery / Redis) for handling long-running network operations;
• CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitLab CI/GitHub Actions) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles;
• Deep understanding of Fortigate (FortiOS) and VMware NSX-T architectures;
• Hands-on experience automating firewall policies, address objects, and security groups via FortiManager API (JSON-RPC/REST) and NSX-T Policy API;
• Solid grasp of enterprise routing, switching, zoning, and micro-segmentation concepts;
• Good level of English Language.
