Role Description The Senior AWS DevOps Team Lead is a full-time remote role responsible for leading a DevOps team in designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS-based infrastructure and automation. This role includes overseeing CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud resources, and ensuring reliability, scalability, and security of production and non-production environments. The team lead will guide software integration efforts, collaborate with development and QA teams, and drive test automation to support rapid and stable releases. Daily activities involve mentoring team members, establishing best practices, optimizing costs, monitoring system performance, and responding to incidents. The role also requires close communication with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs and continuously improve DevOps processes.
Qualifications

• Strong background in Software Development and Integration, with experience collaborating across engineering, QA, and operations teams.
• Hands-on expertise in Continuous Integration and Test Automation, including designing, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• Advanced skills in Infrastructure management on AWS (e.g., EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation/Terraform) and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Proven experience leading DevOps or platform teams, including mentoring, task prioritization, and performance guidance.
• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), monitoring and logging (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, or similar), and security best practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, with strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash), version control (Git), and build tools supporting modern development workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in managed services, consulting, or multi-tenant cloud environments is a plus; AWS certifications are highly beneficial.
