Senior AWS Engineer

AWS Work
As AWS engineer in our company, I spend my days designing, developing, and maintaining Amazon Web Services. I optimize our applications to make sure they run smoothly, but also get the opportunity to build and develop brand new solutions. I can use a variety of AWS services, such as Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, and EC2, to build scalable and reliable solutions. We manage our infrastructure in Terraform so I am a lot of opportunities to improve my skill in this area.
I cooperate with our development team on active project and implementation of new features, analyzing business requirements and turning them into real-life solutions as well as driving AWS projects to improve upon our existing infrastructure. Our teams work is based on SCRUM and Kanban methodologies
We are obliged to comply with HIPAA, keeping clients' protected health information (PHI) safe. Our goal is to follow ISO 27001, the leading international standard focused on information security.
Tech Stack Requirements
To excel in this role, you'll need advanced experience in AWS. Proficiency in Gitlab CI/CD, Terraform, and Docker. And of course, a deep understanding of AWS services like ECS, RDS, S3, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway and DynamoDB will make you an asset to our team.
As a AWS Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our AWS services. Create innovative solutions using the latest technologies.
Salary Range
From 3 000 gross/month. Final salary agreement depends on candidate's skill-set and experience.
Language skills
English – Upper intermediate (B2) and Slovak – Upper intermediate (B2)
Experience and Knowledge
At least 3 years of experience in maintaining large AWS environments
At least 2 years of experience with containers (Docker, K8S, ECS)
Understanding of terraform modules and ability to write and maintain own modules
