Your role as Senior Azure Application Engineering Consultant

Bridge Partners is seeking multiple Senior Azure Application Engineering Consultants to support complex, high-impact solution delivery for our enterprise technology clients. We’re seeking experienced, client-facing practitioners who can translate business needs into secure, scalable solutions and work alongside customer teams from design through implementation.

These opportunities span three application engineering specializations. Candidates are not expected to meet every technology listed below. During the application process, please identify the technical track or tracks that best match your recent experience.

Specialization tracks:

• Full-Stack Technical Lead

Leads application architecture and full-stack delivery using technologies including Python/FastAPI, React/Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Entra ID, Docker, and Kubernetes. This track emphasizes technical design, architecture, code quality, and team leadership.

• AI-Native Engineering Lead

Leads application engineering teams using AI-assisted development practices, including Claude Code and GitHub Copilot. This track emphasizes Azure DevOps, Jira, legacy code analysis, feature-team leadership, and effective use of AI coding tools throughout the development lifecycle.

• AI-Native Full-Stack Engineer

Contributes to full-stack application development using Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Playwright across Azure application, integration, and data layers. This track emphasizes rapid ramp-up, collaborative development, paired development, and the ability to use AI coding tools effectively.

How you’ll contribute

• Design, develop, test, and deploy secure and scalable Azure-based applications in collaboration with client teams.
• Translate business and technical requirements into application designs, implementation plans, and production-ready solutions.
• Contribute across the software development lifecycle, from technical design and development through testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain CI/CD practices that support reliable application delivery.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborative development practices that promote quality, maintainability, and knowledge sharing.
• Work directly with customer teams in embedded or co-development environments, communicating technical decisions and progress clearly.
• Apply AI-assisted engineering tools effectively to accelerate development, analyze code, improve quality, and support delivery.
• Provide technical leadership appropriate to the engagement, including architecture, feature-team leadership, mentoring, and problem solving.

Your skills and approach:

• Senior-level experience in full-stack or application engineering, preferably in Azure environments.
• Demonstrated experience delivering applications from technical design through implementation and deployment.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience working collaboratively with client or customer teams in embedded, consulting, or co-development environments.
• Strong code review, debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and a willingness to incorporate AI into modern engineering workflows.
• Deep expertise in at least one of the specialization areas described above; candidates are not expected to possess every technology listed across all three tracks.

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this role is $100 to $115 per hour. The final rate will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant work experience, certifications, education, and geographic location. Please note that the range listed applies specifically to this position and may vary for other roles.
