Senior Azure Cloud SDE (MSQ)

We are looking for a Senior Azure Cloud SDE to support security and reliability work for live Azure services. The role combines hands-on cloud engineering with C#/.NET and frontend experience in an established managed-service team.

Requirements:

• Strong C#/.NET and JavaScript/TypeScript engineering experience;
• Hands-on Azure experience with subscriptions, RBAC, VNets, NSGs, Firewalls, Key Vault, Storage, App Services/Functions, and AKS;
• Experience with Bicep or Terraform;
• Experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub;
• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud;
• Ability to work onsite in the Greater Seattle area.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Service 360 security work items for live Azure services;
• Improve cloud security, reliability, and infrastructure automation;
• Collaborate with the engineering team on production service improvements;
• Contribute to future scaling and technical-lead opportunities.

Nice to Have:

• Python experience.

Working Conditions:

• Work model: Onsite during initial ramp-up, then hybrid;
• On-campus presence: Redmond at least three times weekly during the initial ramp-up month, with regular visits afterward;
• Overlap: PST business hours;
• Target start date: Immediate;
• Budget: $55-$60 an hour.
