Senior Azure Data Architect – GenAI / RAG / Agentic AI

12-month contract | Full Remote | Full Time

We are looking for a Senior Azure Data Architect with strong enterprise Azure Data Platform experience and real production experience supporting GenAI, RAG or Agentic AI applications.

This is a Data Architecture role, not an AI developer position.

Key requirements:

• Strong Azure Data Architecture experience
• Azure Cosmos DB – essential
• Production experience with RAG / GenAI / Agentic AI data architecture
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Azure Databricks
• Azure SQL / SQL Server / T-SQL
• Azure Data Lake / Lakehouse
• Azure Functions
• Data modelling and data ingestion
• Structured and unstructured data
• Metadata/configuration-driven ingestion
• Strong architecture ownership

Candidates should have real project experience designing how enterprise data is ingested, stored, governed and made available for AI/RAG applications.

Contract: 12 months

Workload: Full-time

Location: Fully remote

Working hours: CET / UK time zone

Preferred locations: EU, Balkans, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Moldova. LATAM candidates may also be considered if they can work UK hours.
