Job Description:


Role Summary

.Net development experience, debug and troubleshooting skills, familiarity with FTP/SFTP and batch processing​.


A highly skilled Senior Azure Workload Automation Engineer to lead the modernization of enterprise batch processing, workload scheduling, file generation, and third-party integrations. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, migrating, and operating Azure-native workload automation solutions that replace or modernize existing on-premises and legacy scheduling platforms.​

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Azure Batch, Control-M, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, Azure Monitor, and DevOps practices, along with strong software development skills in .NET/C# and experience integrating with third-party systems through SFTP, APIs, and event-driven architectures.​

This role will play a key part in transforming critical daily, weekly, monthly, and annual business processes into scalable, resilient, cloud-native solutions.​




Requirements

Key Responsibilities Workload Automation Modernization​

  • Assess and migrate legacy batch jobs and enterprise scheduler workloads to Azure.​
  • Design cloud-native workload automation frameworks using Azure services.​
  • Modernize file-based integrations and batch processing workflows.​
  • Consolidate workload scheduling platforms where appropriate.​
  • Develop reusable scheduling and orchestration patterns
  • Modernize and migrate legacy batch jobs (Control-M) to Azure.
  • Design workload automation using Azure Batch, Functions, Logic Apps, and ADF.
  • Develop and maintain solutions using .NET/C#.
  • Handle FTP/SFTP, APIs, file processing, and third-party integrations.
  • Work with Azure Service Bus, Storage Accounts, and Azure Monitor.
  • Troubleshoot batch jobs, integrations, and production issues.
  • Implement Azure DevOps/CI-CD and cloud automation best practices.
