About the project
We are looking for a Senior Back-End Developer to work on large-scale backend systems and platform modernization. The role focuses on developing and modernizing high-performance services, building scalable APIs and integrations, and supporting the evolution of AI-powered tools and automated workflows.
You will work in a high-load environment, collaborate with distributed engineering teams, and contribute to system reliability, maintainability, and performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Back-End engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Go, with Go being the primary development language for the past 2+ years
• Experience designing and developing maintainable APIs using technologies such as GraphQL, REST, HTTP, Thrift, or gRPC
• Knowledge of datastore technologies such as Cassandra, Redis, and PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with SQL
• Experience with unit testing and automated testing practices
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar systems and architectures
• Strong communication skills and experience working with distributed engineering teams

Nice to have

• Strong Python experience (more than 3 years)
• Background working with high-load, large-scale distributed systems

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Go-based backend services
• Modernize and refactor existing backend functionality into scalable services
• Design and implement reliable and maintainable APIs
• Work with distributed data stores and backend infrastructure
• Debug complex production issues and implement reliable solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Collaborate with engineers across multiple teams on system modernization and delivery
• Identify opportunities to improve development and migration processes
