Senior Backend Developer

Syntrace builds conversational knowledge for institutional investors. We capture, organize and synthesize private conversations into source-backed knowledge a firm can build on.

We are now hiring a Senior Backend Engineer, remote within Europe.

Every conversation we capture has to be processed reliably, stored securely and made available in seconds.

Our users trust us with the most sensitive conversations they have. That makes security part of the product, not a feature on top of it. It shapes how we design every service, every permission and every data flow.

What you bring:

- Several years building production backend systems at a fast-growing company.

- Strong Python, with FastAPI and PostgreSQL as a plus.

- Experience with event-driven architectures, real-time systems or both.

- A security mindset, and care for the details users never see.
