Senior Backend Developer - LATAM Enviar solicitud About the Role We are seeking a skilled engineer for a Backend / Database Development (Azure) position. In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-performance backend logic and robust cloud data management. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services while ensuring our cloud databases and messaging systems are optimized for peak performance. This position requires a strong understanding of modern software architecture, design patterns, and hands-on experience with cloud-native infrastructure in Azure. All candidates will be valued according to law 19691 art. 8. Key Responsibilities Backend Development: Design and develop scalable, high-quality cloud services and APIs using .NET and .NET Core (C#). Database Engineering: Design relational schemas, write optimized queries, and manage data performance using Azure SQL Database (indexing, tuning, and query optimization). Cloud Messaging: Implement event-driven architectures and asynchronous communication between services using Azure Service Bus. Infrastructure & Deployment: Containerize applications and support deployments using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Container Registry, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. Security & Auth: Implement secure identity management and token-based authentication using Azure Entra ID. Architecture: Apply solid design patterns and software design principles to ensure code maintainability and system reliability. Technical Requirements Backend Core: 4+ years of professional experience in backend development using .NET Core / .NET (C#). Database Expertise: Strong background in database development, specifically with Azure SQL Database or Microsoft SQL Server (advanced SQL, performance tuning, data modeling). Messaging & Integration: Proven experience with message brokers/queues, specifically Azure Service Bus (or equivalents like RabbitMQ/Kafka). Cloud & Containers: Solid understanding of Docker, container registries, and orchestration with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). CI/CD: Experience setting up or maintaining pipelines in Azure DevOps.
