Senior Backend Engineer

Brame, a dynamic MarTech startup headquartered in Switzerland, is seeking a talented Senior Backend Engineer to join our team in Novi Sad . We are dedicated to revolutionizing the world of gamification marketing and helping businesses across industries enhance their customer journey with interactive and cutting-edge experiences. With our Playable Ad Network, we are setting new standards in the field of online display advertising. The gamified banners achieve above-average values in all relevant KPIs. The complex technology requires special care and expertise in planning, implementation, and delivery. Strong proficiency in C#, or other programming language for 5+ years, with a solid understanding of its core concepts Advanced understanding of microservices architecture design principles Experience with modern application architecture and development (e.g., microservices, serverless…) Experience with design, implementation and delivery of complex software components for scale, resiliency and maintainability Experience in writing well-designed, efficient code An active approach to problem-solving with a willingness to dive into infrastructure and operational issues Strong working experience with GIT version control Familiarity with Agile development methodologies Passion for information technologies & programming Proficiency in English It will be considered a plus Experience with building performant microservice applications Experience with AWS or Azure, Serverless (Lambda or Azure function), Postgres, SQL, NoSQL Experience with agentic coding workflows Proficiency in designing, deploying, and managing infrastructure solutions Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated monitoring and alerting systems Experience in reducing manual efforts and enhancing automation capabilities Interest in learning and applying DevOps practices to streamline development and operational processes Analyzing clients’ requirements and implementing features Proposing new technical architectural solutions Enhancing proactivity by making sure that features are implemented on time Working on improving company processes and participating in technical interviews together with HR Providing code reviews and help in problem situations by sharing technical expertise As a team, we believe in fostering a warm and friendly work environment while pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in gamification marketing.
