Senior Backend Engineer

About the Role

Join a founding engineering team building an AI-powered business intelligence platform. In this high-agency role, you will work across the product and codebase, helping create scalable systems for analytical workloads.

What You'll Do

• Build and scale data pipelines for latency-sensitive analytical workloads.

• Work across the codebase and product, collaborating with engineering and product teammates.

• Help define the product and engineering roadmap through close collaboration with teammates and customers.

• Design and build cost-efficient, secure, scalable systems on modern cloud infrastructure.

• Contribute to the engineering culture and technical direction of the team.

What We're Looking For

• At least 4 years of backend engineering experience in product, platform, or infrastructure roles.

• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.

• Experience building or operating large-scale data pipelines.

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related engineering, physical science, or quantitative field, with strong technical fundamentals.

• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment or an engineering organization with strong technical standards.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $250,000 to $300,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available. H-1B transfers are considered case by case; TN and eligible OPT candidates may also be considered.
