We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (L3/L4) to join our Discovery Platform Team and help evolve the core architecture of IP Fabric's product. You will work hands‑on in the codebase, drive architectural improvements, and enable other engineering teams through a stronger, more scalable platform. This is a high‑impact IC role requiring strong backend engineering skills, architectural thinking, and the ability to collaborate closely with Product and other engineers. What You’ll Do Design, refactor, and evolve core Discovery platform components Drive architectural improvements to reduce technical debt and improve scalability and stability Own platform initiatives from problem definition to delivery Collaborate closely with Product to translate business goals into technical roadmap items Mentor and support other engineers through technical leadership and clear communication What You'll Need Strong backend engineering experience with Node.js (TypeScript) Experience working with PostgreSQL and Kafka/RabbitMQ Practical experience with Linux and Docker Proven experience refactoring and maintaining existing production systems Ability to work independently and identify what needs to be done Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Valid VISA to work in Czechia / EU Bonus Points If You Have General knowledge about Networks (L2/L3) or network automation Experience with a process debugging and profiling Experience with distributed systems or large-scale data processing CI/CD pipeline and deployment experience Our Tech Stack Node.js (TypeScript), PostgreSQL, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Express.js/Fastify Latest AI tooling, MCP GitLab CI, Code in monorepo Benefits & Perks 25 days of holidays + 5 flexi-days.
