Senior Backend SDE (RDT)

We are looking for a Senior Backend SDE to build services and tools that help scale content moderation and replace manual review with AI-assisted workflows.

Requirements:

• At least five years of backend engineering experience, with the last two years focused primarily on Go;
• Experience with Cassandra, Redis, PostgreSQL, and SQL fundamentals;
• Experience designing and implementing maintainable GraphQL, REST, HTTP, Thrift, and gRPC APIs;
• Experience with unit testing and other automated testing.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement backend services and APIs for moderation tools;
• Build reliable integrations across data stores and service boundaries;
• Improve automated testing, maintainability, and operational quality;
• Collaborate with Akvelon and client engineers on product delivery.

Nice to Have:

• Python experience.

Working Conditions:

• Work model: Remote;
• Overlap: until 12 PM PST;
• Target start date: ASAP.
