Lead the bankruptcy and restructuring practice and oversee its continued development.
Advise investment funds on debt-side restructurings and workouts involving distressed portfolio companies.
Handle both in-court bankruptcy matters and out-of-court restructurings.
Work approximately 300 to 400 hours annually on firm-generated bankruptcy matters alongside your portable practice.
Mentor and direct a junior associate, and collaborate with attorneys serving the firm's existing clients.
Continue developing your client relationships and portable practice.

At least 15 years of experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, and debtor-creditor matters.
A substantial portable bankruptcy and restructuring practice, with a demonstrated ability to originate and manage client relationships.

A J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in New York.
Experience advising investment funds on debt involving distressed portfolio companies is valued.
Strong leadership, mentoring, and collaborative skills, with an entrepreneurial interest in growing a practice.
Stable career history and comfort working in a boutique law firm environment.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
