Our Launceston Business Advisory team has an exciting opportunity for an intermediate Accountant to join a close-knit, high-performing team. Work closely with the Senior Manager and Director of Business Advisory (TAS) with regular mentoring, guidance and support to help you grow your advisory capability.

Role responsibilities
- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts
- Prepare full set of accounts, tax checklists and cash-flow statements
- BAS, GST and FBT returns
- Construct and maintain working papers
- Reconcile client accounts
- Liaise with clients and external stakeholders
- Work on various consulting assignments and projects as required
Our ideal new team member has:
- A Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent degree
- Working towards your CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 1.5 years’ experience in accounting, ideally within public practice
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Motivation to grow professionally and contribute to team development
- Ability to develop trusted relationships with both clients and colleagues
- Structured learning, technical training and exposure to accountant‑led advisory work
- Opportunity to influence process development and quality as the function scales
