Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support regulatory reporting initiatives within the banking sector. The person in this role will be responsible for analyzing and implementing regulatory requirements, improving reporting processes, reducing manual adjustments, and supporting regulatory remediation activities. The role involves close cooperation between business and IT teams, with a strong focus on SQL, data warehouse solutions, financial data, and regulatory reporting.

Wymagania

• Strong knowledge of banking regulatory reporting processes and frameworks.
• Solid understanding of banking products, systems, processes, and financial data.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, including requirements analysis and requirements engineering.
• Experience in business process modelling and process optimization.
• Ability to analyze and translate regulatory requirements into clear business and data requirements.
• Understanding of reporting rules, validation logic, and supervisory requirements.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with financial and reporting data.
• Understanding of data warehouse concepts and reporting solutions.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Good understanding of Data Literacy principles.
• Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies.
• Experience working with Jira and Confluence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.

• Experience supporting regulatory remediation activities.

• Analyzing and implementing new business and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Translating regulatory reporting rules and validation logic into clear business and data requirements.
• Supporting regulatory remediation activities and ensuring alignment with supervisory expectations.
• Identifying opportunities to automate manual, file-based processes and reduce manual adjustments.
• Acting as a liaison between business and IT stakeholders across cross-functional teams.
• Analyzing banking and financial data using SQL.
• Contributing to the design and improvement of data warehouse and reporting solutions.
• Modelling and optimizing business processes using established business process modelling techniques.
• Translating complex datasets and statistical concepts into clear business insights.
• Preparing and maintaining requirements documentation in Confluence.
• Managing tasks and project activities in Jira.
• Engaging with stakeholders at different organizational levels and ensuring clear communication and alignment.
