We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join our engineering team. In this position, you'll serve as the essential bridge connecting business stakeholders with software development teams. Your main goal will involve grasping intricate business challenges, examining existing workflows, and gathering comprehensive, quality requirements that engineers can readily convert into functional software.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business units, product managers, and users to collect, refine, and record thorough functional and non-functional requirements
Examine current "as-is" business processes, pinpoint inefficiencies or problem areas, and create improved "to-be" workflows to enhance operations
Convert business requirements into well-organized, precise user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria (utilizing Gherkin/BDD when suitable) for the development backlog
Serve as the main point of contact between technical teams and business units, enabling communication and managing expectations across the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) and business users to confirm that delivered software fulfills the original business requirements, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT

Requirements

3+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst within an IT or software development setting
Strong problem-solving abilities with a talent for deconstructing complex systems and processes into clear, manageable components
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and the reverse
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and hands-on experience with sprint cycles
Skilled in using Jira, Confluence, and Miro or Visio to document requirements and workflows
English proficiency at a B2 level or above
