MatchBox is urgently seeking a Senior Business Analyst Cybersecurity & IT Resiliency for a 12 month contract role. This is a hybrid role (2 days on site and 3 remote) with our New Westminster public sector client.

Senior Business Analyst (Contractor) – Cybersecurity & IT Resiliency Program
Role: Provide senior business analysis support for a cybersecurity and IT resiliency program, working closely with the Program Manager and cross-functional teams. May also contribute to solution design, testing, training, and change management.
Core Responsibilities
- Identify and document business problems, risks, and objectives
- Lead workshops/interviews to gather and analyze requirements
- Translate requirements into detailed functional/technical specifications
- Map current (as-is) and future (to-be) business processes
- Support project planning: WBS, RAID logs, status reporting
- Develop test strategy, test plans, and test scripts; support UAT
- Maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix
- Prepare change management materials and training content
- Lead or support training delivery for end-users and admins
- RAID logs, use cases/user stories, process maps
- Fit-gap analysis and RACI matrices
- Test planning and deployment support materials
- Change management and training documentation
- SOPs, operations guides, user manuals
- Meeting minutes and program status reports
- Bachelor's degree plus formal business analysis training (or equivalent)
- 10+ years leading business analysis on large, complex system implementations (on-prem and SaaS)
- Strong SDLC and systems implementation background
- Understanding of data center, networking, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience conducting current-state assessments
- Strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills
- Experience leading BA teams and cross-functional stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, and Project
- Skilled at translating business needs into system requirements and process improvements
- Experience developing KPIs to measure process performance
