The Senior Business Analyst will support a complex, large-scale application modernization and business transformation initiative involving legacy and modern systems, significant data migration, business process transformation, testing, and organizational readiness activities.
The role will lead requirements gathering, business process mapping, gap analysis, stakeholder engagement, and validation of business processes and requirements while supporting alignment between existing business functions and a modernized solution. The Senior Business Analyst will also support data migration activities including cleansing, conversion, mapping, reconciliation, and validation, as well as test planning, test case development, execution, User Acceptance Testing, and defect validation. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, communication, change management, and documentation skills, along with the ability to produce standard project artifacts and support implementation readiness across a complex modernization program

- Post-secondary education in a 2+ year program in business, computer science, or a related field from a recognized institution
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including 3-6 years of experience working on complex, large-scale modernization projects
- Experience soliciting, documenting, and validating business requirements
- Experience with stakeholder engagement, business process transformation, and change management
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience supporting data migration activities including data mapping, data conversion, data validation, reconciliation, and migration readiness
- Experience preparing test strategies and test plans

- Experience monitoring and controlling test plan execution

- Help validate the solution design from a business perspective and take a leadership role in validating business processes and requirements
- Plan, facilitate, conduct, and document business process and requirements validation workshops, meetings, and interviews
- Work with stakeholders to configure the new system according to business needs, including security settings for users
- Guide and assist with data cleansing and conversion
- Identify gaps with new data structures
- Capture data migration rules, mappings, and validation requirements
- Write test cases to validate requirements
- Lead internal and client testing
- Document bugs and validate fixes
- Support testing activities including test cases, execution, and User Acceptance Testing
- Work closely with business representatives and change management resources to support business process change activities
