- Sales experience from UC, Pro AV, physical security or IP/networking required
- Can be based in Sydney or Melbourne - WFH
- Inherit major enterprise relationships including Woolworths, JB Hi-Fi and a sign
- Genuine pathway to build a team and progress into Country Manager / Oceania lead
Want to take ownership of an Australian market and potentially build the team around you?
We’re partnering with a global manufacturer of IP audio and communication technology to appoint a senior sales professional to drive its next stage of growth in Australia.
This isn’t a territory you’re starting from scratch. The business has been operating in Australia for around 15 years and has recently increased its investment in the market, contributing to approximately 70% sales growth over the past year.
You’ll inherit a strong platform including:
- Major enterprise customers and projects including Woolworths, JB Hi-Fi and Queensland Department of Education.
- 2 strategic distributors and approximately 40 active integrators
- Established relationships across the Cisco and Zoom ecosystems
- An Australian revenue base with an initial target of approximately $1.3m-$1.5m
- International technical, solutioning and marketing support
The Role:
Your remit is to take that foundation and build the Australian business.
You’ll have significant autonomy to develop new enterprise customers, land and expand within existing accounts, strengthen the integrator/distributor network, work directly with technology partners and identify where the business should invest next.
You’ll also represent the company at major industry events such as Integrate and Cisco Live, while having the freedom to identify other events and partnerships that can grow the brand locally.
The technology integrates with major UC environments including Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Cisco, with its IP endpoints used for paging, alerting, emergency notification and secure entry across enterprise environments.
Where can it lead:
This is initially a hands-on individual contributor position but it doesn’t have to stay that way. The ambition is to substantially grow Australia over the coming years. If you build the market successfully, there is a genuine opportunity to build a team around you and progress towards a Country Manager or broader Oceania leadership role in the future.
For someone who wants the autonomy of building a market without starting from zero, this is the ideal opportunity.
We’re particularly interested in proven new-business salespeople from
Unified Communications, Pro AV, Physical Security or IP/Networked Communications. What matters most, however, is that you are a proacitve sales hunter with a proven track record who understand technical sales, can work effectively with integrators and partners, and has the hunter mentality and autonomy to build a territory yourself.
For someone who wants the autonomy of building a market without starting from zero, this is a seriously interesting opportunity.
