Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are looking for a senior consultant with a clear and documented proximity to the PC OEM ecosystem. This assignment is ideal for you if you understand how PC portfolios are planned, positioned, curated, and sold through retail and e-tail, and if you can navigate the interplay between OEM, technology platform, channel partner, and the Nordic market. The role is business-oriented, international, and central to driving the success of a modern compute portfolio in the Nordics.
About the Assignment:
You will step into a global technology environment where compute, PC technology, consumer electronics retail, and Windows on Snapdragon take center stage. The focus lies on building and driving channel plans with leading Nordic retail and e-tail partners, while working closely with PC OEM-related processes, product cycles, and go-to-market decisions. This is not a general retail or partner role. To be relevant, you need to have worked directly with, or very closely to, PC OEMs and understand their commercial logic: how portfolios are built, how assortment decisions are shaped, how launches are timed, and how sell-through is driven together with channel partners.
You will, among other things:
- Build and follow up on channel account plans with leading consumer electronics retail partners in the Nordics
- Drive activities that strengthen the curation, visibility, and sales of the PC/compute portfolio in the market.
- Work closely with OEM-related go-to-market flows, product cycles, and commercial decision-making processes.
- Own and develop channel and sales analysis for the compute segment.
- Identify gaps, opportunities, and concrete actions linked to portfolio, channel, and sell-through.
- Contribute market and channel insights to product strategy, leadership dialogues, and customer meetings.
- Work with pipeline, forecasting, and ongoing commercial follow-up.
- Manage relationships with key partners, resellers, e-tailers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, marketing, and sales in a global organization.
- Drive alignment across multiple geographies, time zones, and functions.
- Travel regularly within the Nordics and internationally as needed.
We are looking for someone who has:
Solid experience in business development, channel sales, or strategic account management within PC, compute, or related tech products. You have worked in close proximity to PC OEMs and understand how their product, channel, and go-to-market decisions are shaped. You know how consumer electronics retail and e-tail operate, but your strength lies in the combination of channel, OEM proximity, and technical understanding. You can discuss portfolio, pricing, marketing funds, supply chain, product positioning, and sell-through with high credibility, both internally and externally. As a person, you are analytical, commercial, and strong in relationship-building. You are comfortable in senior stakeholder dialogues, accustomed to global organizations, and capable of driving momentum even when multiple interests, markets, and functions need to be aligned.
Must-Have Requirements:
- Documented experience working directly with, or very close to, PC OEMs.
- Deep understanding of the PC OEM industry and its go-to-market motion.
- Experience in business development, channel sales, product management, or strategic account management within PC, compute, or complex technology products.
- Experience in consumer electronics retail and/or e-tail in conjunction with PC OEMs.
- Understanding of how PC portfolios are planned, launched, curated, and sold through the channel
- Experience in channel account management.
- Experience in channel analytics, pipeline management, and forecasting.
- Experience in go-to-market strategy.
- Experience in partner relationship management and stakeholder management.
- Technical understanding of PC platforms, notebooks, desktops, tablets, or other compute products.
- Ability to communicate, educate, and evangelize technical and commercial value.
- Very good communication skills in English.
- Experience working in a global and cross-functional environment.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in the Nordic consumer electronics market.
- Experience with major retail and e-tail partners in the Nordics.
- Experience with Windows on Snapdragon.
- Experience in pricing and marketing fund management.
- Product management background within PC or compute
- Supply chain knowledge tied to technology products.
- International business experience
- Experience with globally distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or a relevant business field.
- 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, product management, or equivalent within the PC industry and/or major consumer electronics retailers.
