This is a home-based position in the USA, preferably in the Northeast or Mid-Atlantic region. Candidates must currently reside in the USA and be legally authorized to work in the USA. The role requires frequent travel, both within the USA and internationally.

Aviko is one of the world's largest potato processors, operating in more than 100 countries and serving customers across retail, food service and industrial channels. Backed by the strength of Royal Cosun, we continue to invest in innovation, growth and long-term partnerships.

To accelerate our growth in North America, we are looking for a senior, commercially driven Business Development Manager with deep knowledge of the foodservice market. You combine an established network with the ability to open doors, build strategic partnerships and convert opportunities into sustainable, profitable growth.

As Senior Business Development Manager North America, you will take ownership of expanding Aviko’s presence across the East Coast of the United States and Canada. You will identify new market opportunities, win new contracts with regional key accounts, expand relationships with distributors and brokers, and help accelerate growth within the foodservice channel.

This is a high-impact role for an experienced commercial professional who understands how regional foodservice chains make decisions and who can turn trusted market relationships into a strong new-business pipeline.

Working autonomously and in close partnership with internal teams, distributors, brokers and customers, you will shape the commercial approach and strengthen Aviko’s position as a preferred partner in the North American foodservice market.

  • Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across North America.
  • Build and expand senior relationships with national and regional foodservice operators, distributors and key accounts.
  • Develop a high-quality commercial new business funnel together with brokers and convert opportunities into profitable, sustainable growth.
  • Strengthen and actively manage broker and distributor networks to increase Aviko’s market reach and create pull-through.
  • Develop and execute market and account growth plans aligned with Aviko’s North American commercial strategy.
  • Support expansion within chain restaurant groups and other foodservice segments.
  • Translate customer needs, market developments and competitive insights into relevant commercial opportunities.
  • Contribute to annual sales plans, budgeting, forecasting and disciplined pipeline management.
  • Represent Aviko at customer meetings, industry events and trade shows.
  • Work closely with North American and European colleagues to ensure reliable execution and long-term customer success.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Business or a related field.
  • Significant commercial experience in business development, key account management or sales leadership within foodservice or the food industry, while a culinary background would be an additional plus.
  • Experience in frozen foods, potato products, fries or appetizers would be a strong advantage.
  • A proven track record of winning and growing large, complex accounts and delivering profitable business growth.
  • A strong network among regional chain restaurants and foodservice decision-makers on the U.S. East Coast is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with distributors, brokers and multi-level customer organizations.
  • Strong commercial judgement and ownership, ideally including P&L responsibility.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • An entrepreneurial, self-starting approach, combined with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international organization.
  • Willingness to travel frequently throughout the United States and Canada, with occasional international travel.

What do we offer?

  • Opportunity to make a direct impact on the growth of a leading international food company.
  • High degree of autonomy and entrepreneurship.
  • International exposure and collaboration with colleagues worldwide.
  • Competitive salary and bonus opportunity.
  • Employment will be arranged through a trusted local payroll partner.
  • Professional development opportunities within a growing organization.
