More information at: www.inetum.com We are looking for a Senior Business System Analyst with experience in modern data platforms, particularly Databricks, to act as a bridge between business stakeholders and Data Engineering, BI, and Data Science teams. The role is responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements, defining functional specifications, and ensuring the successful implementation of data solutions. Responsibilities Business Analysis Gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Facilitate workshops with business and IT stakeholders. Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications. Assess the impact of changes on existing processes and systems. Define business rules, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios. Data & Databricks Collaborate with Data Engineers to design and develop data pipelines in Databricks. Analyze data sources, mappings, and data transformations. Participate in defining data models and information architecture. Understand and document ETL/ELT processes developed in Databricks. Contribute to data quality rules and operational controls. Ensure end-to-end data traceability from source to reporting. Testing & Validation Define test scenarios and acceptance criteria. Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Validate implementation results together with stakeholders. Investigate defects and perform root cause analysis. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Business System Analyst. Minimum 2 years of experience in Data & Analytics projects. Experience working with Data Engineering teams. Experience in Agile environments. Technical Skills Hands-on Databricks experience. Strong SQL knowledge. Understanding of: Data Lake Data Warehouse ETL / ELT Delta Lake Data Governance Data Quality Experience with: Azure Databricks Azure Data Factory (nice to have) Power BI / Qlik / Tableau (nice to have) Jira and Confluence Analytical Skills Business Process Modeling Data Mapping Gap Analysis Root Cause Analysis Functional Specifications User Stories Personal Skills Strong analytical thinking. Ability to understand complex processes. Excellent communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders. Results-oriented mindset. Attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and work in dynamic environments. Nice to Have Banking or financial services experience. Knowledge of Retail or Corporate Banking products. Experience with Python or PySpark.
