Senior C++ Developer (HFT)

Our client is looking for a C++ Software Engineer with experience developing high-load applications. The successful candidate will work on developing and optimising trading systems, algorithms, and connections to cryptocurrency exchanges. This role is well-suited to an engineer who has experience working with systems where every microsecond matters and performance, reliability, and efficiency are critical.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain connections to cryptocurrency exchanges and data providers, as well as troubleshoot market data issues.
• Develop and implement new features.
• Collaborate with different teams to ensure the correct behaviour of algorithms and continuously improve trading systems.
• Assist with identifying and resolving smaller bugs and technical issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Extensive experience with C++.
• Proven experience working with high-load applications.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Good understanding of networking concepts.
• Knowledge of financial markets and low-latency/high-frequency systems and/or distributed systems.
• Proficiency with modern AI-assisted development tools and workflows, such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with Python and/or Kafka.
• Experience working with networking protocols such as REST, WebSockets, and FIX.
• Experience with AWS, Kibana, Grafana, and Prometheus.
