Spirited Brands is building two distinctive RTD brands for today’s consumer: Soula, a modern margarita, and Sokē, a sake-soda.

We’ve built a strong foundation, our retail footprint is growing across multiple U.S. markets, and we’re ready to add an experienced chain account leader to the team.

This is a key commercial role responsible for developing our off-premise chain business across the Western and Central U.S. We’re looking for someone who knows the beverage alcohol business, knows the retail landscape, and knows how to create opportunity.

Deep industry relationships matter. So does the ability to think strategically, understand how retailers make decisions, recognize openings others may miss, and build the right business case to get a brand in front of the buyer.

Ideally, that experience comes from the RTD or wine side of the business, with established relationships across regional and national retailers.

For someone who has spent years building a career and network in beverage alcohol, this is an opportunity to put that experience behind two growing brands and play an important role in what comes next.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development of priority regional and national off-premise chain accounts for Soula and Sokē across the Western and Central U.S.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with wine buyers, category managers, and other key retail decision-makers.
  • Create account-specific strategies to secure authorizations, expand distribution, and grow the business.
  • Find opportunities across line reviews, category resets, innovation programs, regional tests, and other paths to distribution.
  • Understand each retailer’s strategy, shopper, assortment, and category priorities, and position our brands accordingly.
  • Turn syndicated data, retailer performance, category trends, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence into compelling selling stories.
  • Lead buyer presentations, line reviews, business reviews, and commercial negotiations.
  • Identify assortment gaps and white-space opportunities where Soula and Sokē can bring incremental value to the retailer and category.
  • Work closely with distributor chain teams and leadership to open doors and turn authorizations into strong retail execution.
  • Stay ahead of retailer planning calendars, resets, line reviews, and innovation cycles.
  • Manage opportunities from initial engagement through authorization, item setup, and launch.
  • Maintain a disciplined pipeline of account opportunities and priorities.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of progressive beverage alcohol sales experience with meaningful off-premise chain-account responsibility.
  • RTD and/or wine experience strongly preferred.
  • Established relationships with wine buyers, category managers, and decision-makers at major regional and national retailers across the Western and Central U.S.
  • A track record of developing new chain business and securing new item authorizations and mandates.
  • Strong understanding of the three-tier system and how suppliers, distributors, and retailers work together.
  • Deep knowledge of retailer line reviews, resets, category management, pricing, promotions, and new-item processes.
  • Strong command of syndicated and account-level data and the ability to turn insights into a persuasive commercial story.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinking paired with a natural instinct to find a way forward.
  • Confidence operating independently and making things happen without a large corporate infrastructure behind you.
  • A genuine interest in building brands and creating business, not simply managing an established portfolio.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Performance-based incentive tied to individual and company objectives.
  • Remote-based role for candidates located in Texas, Arizona, or California.
  • The autonomy and flexibility that come with working as part of an entrepreneurial, experienced team.
  • Direct involvement in shaping the commercial growth of two expanding brands.
  • Regular interaction with founders and senior leadership, with the ability to influence decisions and move quickly.
  • Business travel and related expenses covered in accordance with company policy.
  • Spirited Brands is an equal opportunity employer. We value different perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences and are committed to building a strong, inclusive team.
