Senior Change Analyst

  • Join Hospitality and Racing a division within the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport  
  • Clerk Grade 9/10 with a salary range of $ 133,348- $146,965 per annum plus superannuation
  • Temporary up to 3 Years months role based in Sydney, NSW with hybrid work arrangements

Lead change that delivers meaningful outcomes for Hospitality & Racing, its people and the communities it serves.

About the Role

Join the newly established Strategic Projects Office (SPO), responsible for driving priority strategic initiatives, enabling delivery excellence, and supporting organisational transformation across Hospitality & Racing NSW.

As a Senior Change Analyst, you'll help ensure change is successfully adopted across the organisation. Working closely with leaders, project teams and stakeholders, you will lead change impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, communications and organisational readiness activities that support lasting business outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence how change is delivered across Hospitality & Racing, helping teams navigate new ways of working while contributing to meaningful organisational transformation.

About You

You are a proactive and people-focused change professional who understands that successful change is about more than processes, it's about bringing people on the journey.

You thrive in complex environments, build strong stakeholder relationships, and can balance competing priorities while maintaining a clear focus on outcomes. You have a practical approach to identifying impacts, managing risks, and supporting business readiness to ensure changes are adopted successfully.

We're looking for someone with demonstrated experience in:

  • Change management and stakeholder engagement within complex organisational environments.
  • Organisational readiness, communications, training and adoption planning.
  • Identifying, assessing and managing change impacts, risks and dependencies.
  • Influencing and engaging diverse stakeholder groups, including leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Supporting the delivery of multiple initiatives while balancing competing priorities.
  • Government, PMO, SPO, portfolio, program or transformation delivery experience will be highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with recognised change management methodologies (e.g. Prosci, ADKAR or equivalent) will be highly regarded.
