Senior Channel & Alliances Manager, Europe & UK
Trio builds software that helps IT teams manage and secure their devices. We are looking for a senior channel professional based in Berlin to develop and grow our partner business across the UK and selected European markets. This is a full-time, hybrid role connected to our Berlin office, with regular travel for partner and customer meetings.
This is a hands-on commercial role. You will work with distributors, value-added resellers, managed service providers (MSPs) and managed security service providers (MSSPs) that serve organisations using endpoint and IT management software. You will turn partner relationships into qualified opportunities, first customer wins and sustained channel revenue.
We are looking for someone who is already active in this ecosystem. You should have relevant relationships you can re-engage early, understand how these partners evaluate and take a product to market, and have a record of producing business through them. The role is not designed for someone whose first step would be to begin building an industry network from scratch.
What you will do
• Identify and prioritise distributors, resellers and MSP/MSSP partners in agreed UK and European markets using your existing market knowledge and relationships.
• Open qualified conversations with partner decision-makers, assess fit and commercial potential, and move suitable partners through Trio's review and agreement process.
• Build joint plans with partners: target customers, positioning, enablement, co-selling activity, pipeline milestones and the path to a first customer transaction.
• Work with Sales, Product, Marketing and partner operations to help partners sell and support the approved offer, surface product or programme gaps, and resolve channel conflicts fairly.
• Own a clear view of partner-sourced opportunities and results. Forecast pipeline, document next actions and report which partners are active, producing customer opportunities and generating revenue.
• Develop existing partners after their first transaction so their contribution grows beyond initial onboarding.
What you bring
• Current, credible relationships with relevant distributors, resellers, MSPs or MSSPs in the UK and/or EU, with the ability to begin qualified partner conversations soon after joining.
• A demonstrated record of recruiting and activating partners and contributing to partner-sourced pipeline and closed business in B2B software.
• Direct experience with unified endpoint management, MDM, IT management, endpoint security or closely related software sold through the channel.
• Practical understanding of two-tier distribution, reseller and managed-services models, including joint business planning, enablement, co-selling and rules of engagement.
• The ability to operate independently across markets, maintain accurate commercial records and collaborate with internal teams without relying on a large channel support team.
• Professional English communication, the ability to work in a hybrid arrangement from our Berlin office, and willingness to travel regularly across the UK and Europe.
Experience in more than one European market, another European language and work with both distribution and MSP channels are valuable.
How success will be measured
We will look at the quality and activation of partner relationships, qualified partner-sourced pipeline, first customer wins and ongoing channel contribution. Activity counts and signed partner agreements matter only when they lead to real commercial progress. Market priorities and numerical targets will be agreed against the approved offer and territory.
Location and application
This is a full-time, hybrid role based at Trio's Berlin office. Regular travel within the UK and Europe is expected. Apply through LinkedIn with your CV and a short, non-confidential overview of the partner network you work with today: partner types and markets, the level of relationship, one or two examples of commercial results, and the introductions you could realistically initiate in your first 30–90 days. Please do not share confidential contact lists, customer data or another employer's proprietary information. We will discuss specific relationships later in the process with appropriate discretion.
Trio welcomes applicants from different backgrounds who can demonstrate the relevant relationships and outcomes. Hiring decisions will be based on role-related evidence.
